​     "The last workshop I shared with Doc, was at the hospital as he was experiencing Chemotherapy and all types of treatments for cancer, he invited me to attend a workshop in the Hospital Chapel that a doctor was doing on "Logo Therapy" and the work of Viktor Frankl. When the doctor stated this quote [listed above], I lovingly looked at Doc, in all his frailty, and yet still striving to share an educational experience with those he loved. Inside I was screaming because I knew he was dying... yet, I knew with all he had taught me for over 12 years, the message can never die, or the spirit of the person. It continues to live as we strive for greatness- daily! Be there if at all humanly possible, until you choose to be there for yourself, or if  you choose not to: The Choice is Yours!"
